Next to the municipal cemetery, its Latin name is Santa Maria ab Valle ad Podium, also called Ad Vallem Podii. Built in the fifteenth century and completely restored in 1806, of the ancient Gothic structure, today there is a single-lancet window in trilobo arch and coat of arms in the key of the arch. The roof is gabled and on the side bordering the cemetery is a sturdy, square-shaped bell tower. The entrance is on a long side with a gothic arch framed in stone, surmounted by a niche bearing the inscription D (eo) O (ptimo) M (aximo) Templum Sanctae Mariae ab Valley ad Podium nuncupatum antiqua religion erga Deiparam ab incolis accolisq ( ue): celebratum situ ac vetustate fatiscens Salvat (or) Liberatus civis Bisentinus et ecclesiae prepositus ancient wall novia structionibus solidated campanaria tussi altius excitata internal externoq (eu) squalor detersed to pristinum nitorem revocavit ann (o) aer (ae) christianae MDCCCVI. Slightly lower than it is a plaque with the inscription Dopnn (us) Micutius de Monte Presents prepositus i (n) etc. (lesia) f (yesterday) f (ecit) hoc op (us) 1487. In the main entrance opens a simple portal with a flat architrave that has a round window at the top. The interior has a single hall and a roof of exposed wooden trusses.
