Enlarged in 1639, it was restored and modified in the following two centuries, as documented by numerous recordings of dates present in different parts of the church. The roof is gabled and the façade is horizontal crowning from which stands a bell gable that supports two bells.

It has a single nave divided into three sections by two large round arches and surmounted by a painted wooden ceiling dating back to the eighteenth century. In the central part there is a stone ciborium, presumably from the 16th century, with frescoes that are not in good condition. The main altar is from 1741 and is in baroque style and in gilded painted wood divided into three parts.

In the two side niches there are the statues of St. Andrew and St. Peter, while in the central part there is a painting depicting the Madonna of the Souls Purgative and in the tympanum above it is depicted the Eternal Father. In one of the columns is the plaque with the Cross of Indulgences that Pope Leo XIII granted in 1901.
