Located in the district "Convento Vecchio", in the lower part of the town, there are the remains of the Convent of the Capuchin Friars, to which the Church of Sant'Eustachio is annexed.

Its construction was started in 1678 and was completed in 1720. After an earthquake was restored in 1739, while in 1865, after the approval of the law on the suppression of religious orders, the convent adjacent to the church was abandoned and acquired by the Municipality of Cermignano.

In 1960 the church was restored again and the entrance portico was added. After the Liturgical Reform of 1963 a wooden altar was added to the center of the presbytery and a wooden movable ambo to the left of the altar.

Inside there is a baroque altar in carved walnut wood dating from the seventeenth century, made by Father Cappuccino Giovanni Palombieri and presenting the initials of the Jesuit order.

The nave is unique and has three side chapels on the right, separated from the nave by a wall with large round arches. The roof is gabled and the bell gable has only one arch. Unfortunately, the convent is today unsafe.
